Waterproofing with MasterSeal Polyurea Membranes

Polyurea technology: a wide range of waterproofing applications

Polyurea is one of the most widely used waterproofing and protective membrane technologies.

Whether hand or spray-applied, polyurea membranes are fast hardening allowing a quick return to service. They offer high elasticity and crack bridging capacities as well as chemical and mechanical resistance which make them ideal for a wide range of applications especially under highly demanding conditions.

But not all polyurea products are the same. “Polyurea” is, in fact, a family of products that can vary vastly in characteristics and properties, depending on the formulation.

Polyurea membranes are often used on roofs, foundations, and parking decks to protect them against water damages and leaks. They can also be used in industrial settings to protect concrete or other materials against chemical attacks and abrasion.

MasterSeal polyurea products

In this webinar, we show in detail the MasterSeal portfolio of polyurea membranes, including hybrids, pure polyureas and even anti-static membranes, that can be applied by hand or spray.

Polyurea membrane technologies can be confusing. We will demystify them by clearly explaining what can and cannot be expected from them. For example, we will disprove the argument that polyurea can be applied on water, which is one of the most common misunderstandings.

We will highlight possible applications of MasterSeal polyurea membranes by presenting four real-world examples. Local specialists will explain how polyurea membranes were used on roofs, parking decks, fish farm tanks, and in secondary containment structures.

Overall, this webinar provides valuable insights into the capabilities of polyurea technology and the MasterSeal portfolio of products.
